Use AI access in My Profile to connect a tool that can send an authorisation header, such as Claude Code. Read AI data sharing before you connect one; the connection acts as you and never gives the tool more access than your role has.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”No module permission is needed. Your company must have AI access enabled; if the AI access card is absent, it is not available for your account.
Decide whether the token needs Full — same as you access or Read only access. Prefer Read only when the tool only needs to answer questions.
- Open your user menu, then select My Profile.
- In AI access, select New token.
- Enter a Name that identifies the tool and device.
- Choose Access.
- Choose when the token Expires: 30, 60 or 90 days.
- Select Create token.
- Copy the token or the displayed connection command before selecting Done.
- Add the connection to your AI tool without sharing the token with anybody else.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”The token is shown once. easySales stores a one-way fingerprint, not the token, so it cannot show the value again. The connection appears in the AI access table with its access, expiry and last-used date.
To stop it, select Disconnect beside its name and confirm Disconnect. It stops working immediately and cannot be restored.
Rules to know
Section titled “Rules to know”A Full token can create and change only what you can create and change in easySales. A Read only token cannot write. Every connection expires, and you can hold at most ten active tokens.
Treat the token like a password. Do not paste it into chat, e-mail or a support request.
