Copy for AI
Your own AI tool, such as a chat assistant you already use, can answer questions about easySales from this Help Centre. Copy the help text, paste it into the tool, then ask. This copies only the help, never your company’s records; to let an AI tool work with your data, see Connect an assistant.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”You need an AI tool that accepts pasted text. No sign-in or permission is needed: the help text is the same for everyone.
- Open any help page and select Copy for AI beside its title.
- Choose Copy this page, or Copy all help for every page in the language you are reading. Use AI with help, the third item, opens this guide.
- Open your AI tool, paste into a new conversation and send it.
- Ask your question in your own words, for example “How do I take a deposit and deduct it from the last invoice?”
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”The message Copied. Paste it into your AI tool. appears under the title. The pasted text starts with a short instruction to your AI tool: answer only from the help, say so when the help does not cover a question, use the on-screen names exactly, name the page it used and reply in your language. The help text follows, with a link to each page so you can check the answer.
Rules to know
Section titled “Rules to know”- Copy all help is long. If your AI tool says the text is too long, copy the pages you need one at a time.
- A page not yet translated is copied in English, under a note.
- The copy is the help as it is when you copy it. After an update listed in What’s new, copy it again.
- If your browser does not allow copying, the message offers Open the text; select it and copy the text yourself.

Examples
Section titled “Examples”Mei Tan at Lim & Co is about to bill a clinic fit-out in stages. On the Help Centre home page she selects Copy for AI and Copy all help, pastes it into her AI tool and asks: “The client pays 30% up front. How does that come off the final invoice?” The answer explains the Deposit deduction choices and links Raise an invoice, where she checks the steps before she starts.
Why it works this way
Section titled “Why it works this way”It copies the help, never your records. The text is the same public help everyone can read, so you can paste it into any AI tool without sharing anything about your company or your customers.
The AI is told to answer only from the help. The instruction at the top asks it to say when the help does not cover a question instead of guessing. You get an answer about easySales as it works today, not one invented from other software.
Every answer can be checked. Each page in the copy carries its link, and the AI is asked to name the page it used. Open that page to confirm the steps before you act on them.
On-screen names stay exact. Button and field names are copied in bold as the app shows them, and the AI is asked to use them as written, so the answer matches what you see on screen.
Work faster
Section titled “Work faster”- Copy one page for a focused question. A single page keeps the answer on one task and is short enough for any tool that accepts pasted text. Use Copy all help when you do not know which page covers your question.
- Give a web-reading AI the file address. A tool that can open web addresses can read the whole-help file for your language from the table above, with no copying.
- Ask in your own language. The AI is asked to reply in the language you write in, and every language of the Help Centre has its own copy.
- Use the playbook for business questions. Questions such as how to chase a late payment are answered in the playbook, which Copy all help includes.
Common questions
Section titled “Common questions”- Can ChatGPT answer questions about easySales? Yes. Select Copy for AI on a help page, paste the text into ChatGPT or another AI tool, then ask your question.
- Does Copy for AI share my company’s data? No. It copies only the Help Centre’s text, which is the same for everyone.
- Why does my AI tool say the text is too long? Copy all help copies every page. Copy the pages you need one at a time with Copy this page.
- Do I need to sign in to use Copy for AI? No. The Help Centre and its copies are public.
