Can I let the assistant read but never change anything?

Yes. Untick Make changes as you when you approve it, and it shows Read only under Connected apps. While your company is set to On — read only, no connection can change records.

Will the assistant email my customers?

No. easySales sends nothing to a customer through it. It can draft a message or give you a link to a document's PDF, and you send it yourself.

How do I disconnect it?

Select Disconnect beside it under Connected apps on Third-party AI tools. It stops working at once.

Connect Claude or ChatGPT to easySales

The AI assistant you already use can read your customers, quotations and invoices and answer in plain words. It acts as you, with your permissions and no more, and connecting it takes a few minutes.

How to do it

Open your menu, select My profile, then Third-party AI tools. Next to Your company it must say On or On — read only. If it says Off, ask your administrator to switch it on under System settings → AI.
Where your company offers two-step verification, turn it on first: connecting asks for a code or your passkey.
Select Copy beside the server address, open How to connect an app and follow the steps for Claude.ai or ChatGPT.
When the assistant sends you to easySales, check Signed in as. Untick Make changes as you if it should only read. Confirm it’s you and select Allow.
Start with questions about your own work, for example:
- “Which of my invoices are overdue, and by how much?”
- “Brief me on Harbour Café before my call: open quotations and what they owe.”
- “Which of my open opportunities have no next step?”

Some assistants also list ready-made starting prompts from easySales, such as Follow up overdue invoices, Review my pipeline and My week.

Why it helps

You ask in your own words instead of opening lists and filters, and the assistant reads only what your role lets you open. Every change it suggests is shown to you as a preview and saved only after you confirm, and easySales sends nothing to your customers: a reminder it drafts is yours to send.

Example

Daniel Lim connects ChatGPT with changes allowed and asks which invoices are overdue. It lists Harbour Café’s INV-10000319 for SGD 2,180.00 (SGD 2,000.00 plus GST 9% of SGD 180.00), 12 days overdue, and offers to draft a reminder. Daniel edits the wording and sends it from his own mailbox.
