Categories and makers
Categories and manufacturers are the two lists you choose from when you set up a product. Keep them short and consistent so products are easy to find.
Where to find it
Section titled “Where to find it”Select Products in the sidebar, then Categories & manufacturers. The Product settings page has two tabs: Categories and Manufacturers.
What you can do
Section titled “What you can do”- Add a category or a manufacturer.
- Rename one in place with Edit.
- Delete one you no longer use.
Permissions
Section titled “Permissions”You need Product View to see the lists and Product Edit to change them.
