The workspace
Every page in easySales has the same three parts: a sidebar on the left, a breadcrumb above the page, and your own initial in the top right corner.
The sidebar
Section titled “The sidebar”The sidebar lists, in this order: Dashboard, Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Notes, Opportunities, Quotations, Service contracts, Invoices, Credit notes, Purchase orders, Delivery orders, Reports, Products, My profile, User accounts, System settings and Licence. The names follow the language you choose.
You see fewer entries than a colleague when your role grants you less. An entry your role denies is simply not there; Dashboard and My Profile are always there. Calendar, Tasks, Opportunities, Quotations and Invoices carry a count when they have something to show, and no count when the number is nought.
The three-line button at the top left hides the sidebar and brings it back.
The breadcrumb
Section titled “The breadcrumb”The breadcrumb above each page reads Home, then the section, then where you are. On a record it names the record, so a quotation for Lim & Co reads Home, Quotations, then the quotation’s own reference. Each earlier step is a link back.
Your own menu
Section titled “Your own menu”Your initial in the top right corner opens your menu. It shows your name and your username, the Language menu, three small buttons that switch the look between System, Light and Dark, then My profile and Log out. The language and the look you pick are yours alone and change nothing for anybody else.
What is not here
Section titled “What is not here”Three things people look for and do not find, so that you stop looking:
- No search box that searches everything. Search from within a list.
- No notifications, no bell, no message centre.
- No help button inside the app. This help centre is the help.
